On Monday we started our reading challenge,we had to try and read 30 books in six weeks.
So far it has been really fun and some People have read a lot .in
5aa everyone has read more than 9 books already !
Year,5 are really enjoying this challenge and some say it’s the best challenge yet!!!

This week we have been learning how to locate points on a grid. Miss taught us ‘along the corridor up the stairs’. When locating points on a grid you go along the x axis then up the stairs on the y axis. You must remember to separate each co-ordinate with a comma.

This term we have been reading a book called THE LONDON EYE MYSTERY.
Today we have been drawing and painting the characters and landscapes in the book, later on we will be creating an evidence board to see were SALIM is. It was really exciting , creative and fun,we had a great time.

In class we cut out some papers about friend qualities.
Then we got two separate papers saying important and very important.
Some of them are very unimportant such as being popular and wearing nice clothes and being good looking.
It does not matter if your friend if the same sex as you.
At least you have a friend that you can trust.

Today we have been learning about which qualities make a good friend. We had to work as a team to sort various qualities into important or very important. We decided that it’s important to make friends with people who we can trust.

Every week we do a really fun word game that makes you think outside of the box. The way the game works is this. Miss Amoah calls out some letters then each table has to make as many words as they can. Here are some really good words we came up with using the letters s.a.l.t.i.p.o. It was table seven and table one who came up with the most words they came up with 29!! 😎😎😆😆. By Leo
