We have started to paint out Egyptian Death Masks.

Egyptian Day Photos

Dress like an Egyptian

On Wednesday 8th October a theatre company will be coming into school to work with 5AA and 5ST. This should be a fun and informative day. The children will discover the secrets of a tomb and will take part in an archaeological dig.
The children can dress up as an Egyptian but as this is school photo day,could they please wear their school uniform in the morning. They can change into their costumes after the photgraphs.

British Museum

Today we had a great day at the British Museum. We learnt a lot about the journey to the Ancient Egyptian afterlife.  During our workshop we learnt about the how the Book of the Dead helps Egyptians on their way to the afterlife.
