Volume and shape📐✏️📈
Today we have been doing work on something called volume with shapes we had to turn these things called deems into shapes to work out the volume of the shapes I have really enjoyed this peace of learning we have done this week.

SARAH STOREY NEW PARALYMPIC HOUR RECORD!!!!
Sarah storey has set a new British and Paralympic hour record,
Although she missed out on the world record.
Lenny,his brother and I all went to see Sarah Storey attempt her record although she didn’t make the world record she achieved new British record,new Paralympic record and new female record!.
She ended up in the newspapers with us all in the background.
It was proberbly the hardest hour of her life,she managed to achive 44.502km!.
She was 563m short of the 2003 record set by Dutch cyclist Leontien Van Moorsel.
In the newspaper she quoted ” but to break the British record,I’m really chuffed.
SARAH STOREY became a Paralympic cyclist cased to a paralysed arm.

This week on our independent learning we had a Egyptian Mummies Crossword. It was a bit of a challenge but we did have to remember some of the things we did in our project lesson. Some of the questions were a little bit of a challenge but it was really fun.

Volume
We have been learning about volume and we have been working out what the volume would be 150cm3. How I got the answer is I did 5×5=25 and then I did 25×6=150cm cubed. we used one centre meter cubes to work out the length, width and height.
